VISIT AN OLIVE OIL FARM
As one travels through Andalucia it doesn´t take long to realize that the olive trees dominate the landscape. Some have estimated that there are approximately 175 million olive trees in Andalucia!
We will visit a family boutique olive oil mill on the outskirts of Seville. We will learn more about how the olive trees are cultivated, led by an expert or a family member, your guests will learn about everything that goes into making a signature "Extra Virgin” Olive Oil (EVOO), from the olive tree to the final product. We will walk into the olive grove (organic farming), the museum and the almazara (olive oil factory). At the end of the visit there will be a very educational and comparative tasting of 3 different extra virgin olive oils.
